Novice. Any time I'm playing Apex at random points in the game my character will be uncontrollable. They will spin uncontrollably, won't stop running, and all controls stop working for brief period of time. I've tried different controller, resetting the controller, resetting the system all to no avail.
. The first game I did gave me issues with walking, but a simple restart of my controller fixed it somehow. Now going back to the game again a few hours later, it's either registering double inputs or locking other buttons entirely. Really hope the get this fixed sooner rather than later, not sure how much Epic pays attention to remote play bugs.

Hallelujah! Three years after the original post and it's still a diamond find! I've had to switch from playing on PS4 to playing on PC just as Chapter 5 launched and so needed to re set everything up. I managed to get my DS4 controller working nicely in every respect except I couldn't for the life of me work out why I couldn't place builds.
1. Press the cross button (x) on the right side of the controller. 2. While still holding down the x button, press the circle button (circle). 3. When you see the green light flash, release both buttons. 4. You should now hear a faint noise from the speaker in the controller.
